Medical sutures can be divided into absorbable sutures and non-absorbable sutures. When sutures are usually sutured, the inner layer will use absorbable sutures, which are gradually dissolved and do not need to be removed. Non-absorbable sutures can be used on the outer layer, so special stitching is required in the future. Of course, absorbable sutures can also be selected according to the characteristics of wound suture time and tissue tension.
Each doctor has his own habits after the wound tissue is restored. Xiaobian here briefly introduces a method.
Use both hands to remove the thread, use the tweezers in the left hand and the scissors in the right hand. The left hand tweezers lifts the line on the incision, and you will see a knot. The general county will be on the side of the incision. There are two “footes” in the knot, which are respectively deep into the skin of the incision. The suture is the cut line. One of the "foot" (note: only cut one side). Then lift the knot with the left hand tweezers and pull the cut side out of the skin.
In general, the lines in the skin are relatively sterile, so cut the line as short as possible, and then disinfect it once with alcohol, it may be a little painful. It is recommended to buy erythromycin eye ointment to apply the wound, because the tunnel of the line needs to be anti-inflammatory and prevent infection.
