UNISTRONG-Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE)suture is a non-absorbable braided sterile surgical suture prepared from fibers of ultra high molecular weight. UHMWPE is a subset of the thermoplasticpolyethylene, it has extremely long chains.They are strong and their softness and chemical inertness minimize tissue inflammation and irritation in applications. It is 15x stronger than steel on a weighted basis and 3 times more than Polyester enabling a high resistance.
In-house needle manufacturing provides you the better needles with optimum sharpness which finally delivers smooth riding on tissues during suturing.
Indications of UHMWPE suture
UHMWPE suture is better indicated for heavy-duty orthopaedic applications and increased contrast with surrounding tissue, also for use in cardiovascular surgeries.

UHMWPE sutures are Non-hemolytic, has low friction of coefficient.
